About This Station

The site uses a WH1080 weatherstation, with data collected by Meteohub running on an Iomega Iconnect. The station is comprised of an anemometer, a rain gauge and a thermo-hydro sensor. The sensor array has been split to give better positions than that of a grouped set. This will give the best accuracy possible for this kind of set-up but it will not match that of more sophisticated equipment. The temperature sensors have been adjusted using a thermometer calibrated to UKAS standards. The barometer readings have been calibrated to figures from Wattisham.

About This Area

It's in Suffolk, UK, near Debenham. The site is in an exposed position; the altitude, although very low, is close to the highest for the county.
